
Check it out!! Here is the third langauge version to hit the book stores! I'm waiting for my copy to be sent to me but I found it interesting that the Turkish version is 380 pages versus 436. They also have it categorized under "fitness" instead of "Health" in the web link above.
It is wonderful to see that the 101 Foods can be enjoyed in so many languages!

is this a contest to guess which foods the turkish edition eliminated and decided wouldnt keep us out of the ground? :)

Good point!Maybe they just got down to business and eliminated my introduction...it's a mystery as of today.
The Anglicized version was twice as thick as the American version and I found out that they used a heavier paper stock. They also don't have graham crackers in the UK so they subsitituted "digestive bisquits" instead for one of the recipes. It will be interesting to see what little nuiances there will be when other language versions roll out. Something tells me my two semesters of Spanish won't help me figure them out when the Arabic version when it hits the stands!
My guess it that it has to do with the language itself. I'm a very novice student of Turkish, but I can tell you that they say with one word what takes a whole sentence for us to say. It's an "Agglutinating" language, meaning that everything is said in suffixes that just keep getting tacked on. They also don't have the word "the" and they don't use helping verbs etc, in some ways it's much more streamlined. But, in any case! This is very exciting! Now I can pass it on to my Turkish speaking friends!
